U15 A XV vs Woodhouse Grove School

19 – 46

No of tries 3

Another below par away performance in the north of England.

After an arduous trip to the White Rose County, the U15A’s produced a disappointing first half performance which ultimately resulted in another defeat on the road. The main positive was the fight shown in defence in the face of prolonged pressure during the second half to keep the score line respectable, a shame this was not evident earlier in the match.

As usual, Harry Clarke, Max Coton and Jack Cowgill were at the heart of the action. Woody Austin, too, showed plenty of appetite for the battle. Mention also must be made of Antony Bryan who came on at half time after a number of weeks off with a head injury. He made some positive contributions and tackled with a lot of aggression.

Tries were scored by Jacob Evans-Brewer, Jack Cowgill and Harry Clarke.

Evans-Brewer and Antony Bryan added a conversion each.
