Notable Fielding Performances: The team had great energy and pulled off many run-saving stops. Ben Meads covered a lot of ground and save lots of runs on the edge.

Trent batted first and started slow and steady in the power play showing that creating a platform to attack from is the way to put big scores on the board in T20. Pell lead the run scorning for Trent making 101 before being dismissed by Charlie Hughes. Matthew Jones bowled an excellent spell of off-spin bowling making it hard for the inn batters to get him away to the long boundary.

Trent set the home team 187 to win in 20 overs which was a very big hill to climb, unfortunately, the Denstone batters found it difficult as the Trent bowling attack were as strong as their batting and only Matthew Sells and Ben Meads really got going. The highlights of the Denstone batter were William Eley hitting a monster 6 over deep square legs head and Matthew Jones showing some test match batting at the end of the innings to try and get us to the full 20 overs.

Result: Denstone lost by 122 runs
